Affiliate Disclosure

Transparency is part of how RenterReset earns trust. This page explains how the site is supported, how affiliate links work, and how that relates to the product recommendations you see in our guides.

The short version

Some links on RenterReset are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. You do not pay extra. The price you see is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. Affiliate relationships do not buy a recommendation, and they do not mean every product mentioned is “sponsored content.”

Amazon Associates

RenterReset is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and related Amazon sites.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Depending on your region, links may point to Amazon.com or another Amazon storefront available to English-speaking readers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia. Product availability, pricing, and shipping terms are controlled by Amazon, not by RenterReset.

Other affiliate or partner programs

We may also participate in other affiliate or partner programs with retailers and brands relevant to rental living, organization, and small-home products. When a material relationship could change how you read a recommendation, we aim to say so clearly on the page or in this disclosure.

We do not sell paid backlinks, and we do not accept payment to invent positive reviews. If a future sponsored placement ever appears, it will be labeled as such — separate from ordinary affiliate links inside editorial guides.

How affiliate tracking works

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or network may set a cookie or use similar technology so they can credit the referral if you buy something within a certain attribution window (often around 24 hours on Amazon, though windows and rules can change). That tracking is standard affiliate practice. It helps fund the time it takes to research dimensions, compare options, and write deposit-safe guides.

Blocking affiliate cookies in your browser may prevent a commission from being credited. It does not change the price you pay. For a fuller picture of cookies and third parties — including analytics and any Pinterest embeds — see our Privacy Policy.

Editorial independence

Product picks, rankings, “skip this” notes, and measure-first tables reflect editorial judgment. Sponsors and affiliate partners do not write our copy, invent our criteria, or decide what fails the lease-safety filter. We evaluate recommendations through rental constraints: no-drill preference, deposit safety, small-kitchen fit, and move-out readiness. If a product fails those tests, we will not push it — commission or not.

How those filters work in detail is documented on How we pick products. Who edits the site is on About the editor.

What affiliate income supports

Commissions help cover hosting, tools, research time, and ongoing updates when catalogs change. They are not a guarantee that every linked product is the only good option in its category, or that stock and packaging will stay identical forever. When a specific ASIN disappears, we may update to a search link or a clearer replacement that still matches the guide’s criteria.

Your choices

You can shop without using our links. You can compare prices on multiple retailers. You can measure your space and decide a product is wrong for your lease even if it appears in a guide. Those choices are healthy — the goal is a calmer rental kitchen, not a forced purchase.
